Custom Clocks

This clock was made for one of our favorite customers--the one with the dog (See our Custom Breadbox). She is a teacher, and the clock was a wedding gift for a teacher friend of hers.

The clock is our take on the classic schoolhouse clock design. It is made out of some beautiful quilted birch that was, amazingly enough, rescued from a firewood pile. The birch was stained with cherry dye and finished with shellac. The clock uses a quartz passing bell movement which chimes on the hour, and has a dome glass bezel.
