Southwest Pine Bathroom Vanities

These lovely bathroom vanities were created for a customer in our old hometown of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. A retired plumber, our customer wanted the tops uncut, and in one case unmounted as well, so he could do his own sink cutout and installation. The stains were chosen to match the color scheme of the stenciling on the customer's bathroom wall. The vanities are made of solid pine and fir plywood and are roughly six feet long, 22 inches deep, and about 30 inches tall. Both vanities are finished with water-based polyurethane.

As shown above, the doors for one vanity have a Southwest detail machined into the pine frame and the panels are made of aspen. The Southwest pattern on the drawer fronts are raised about an eighth of an inch above the surrounding edge.
