These tables were created for a client who already had a living room set that she liked and wanted to supplement. The living room set was done in a rustic southwestern style, and these tables were done to match. They are made of pine with antique iron corner braces.

These tables presented a special problem in that the original pieces were made with a solid pine center surrounded by a mitered frame. This is a very poor practice as the expansion and contraction of the center panel is bound to eventually cause the table to warp or split. In order to preserve the same appearance, our tables were made with a plywood center and covered with a shopcut bookmatched veneer. We have confidence that our tables will last much longer than the originals they were built to match!
