Custom Furniture

This coffee table was created for a client in Colorado to compliment the rustic furniture of her living room. It is made from aspen with peeled-pole construction. Since aspen logs are usually not very large, the top was glued up from smaller planks. The tabletop edges were textured with a spokeshave to resemble a rough-sawn edge. The under-shelf is made from found branches.
