This design came about as a result of a custom order. The couple is redoing their house in a Mission theme and were looking for some speaker stands.

The stands are made out of quartersawn white oak, which is the wood of choice for Mission furniture. They are finished with a walnut stain that mimics the ammonia fuming that was used at the turn of the 20th century.

These stands are suitable for small to midsized speakers. They are 30" tall, 8" wide, and 12" deep. The platform that holds the speaker is 23" off the floor and tilted back slightly.
