Basswood & Poplar Chip Carved Clock
When we have a booth at craft shows, Roy likes to have some work to do while we're there. He started chip carving this clock during the Hancock Shaker Show one year, primarily to demonstrate the craft to the people walking by. When it was about half done, somebody bought it! She kept checking in regularly (or sending one of her kids) to see how it was going and then picked it up at the end of the day.
The clockface is basswood, and the frame is poplar.
