Dolphin Book Wall Clock
The customer who ordered this clock informed Roy that the bride is a dolphin trainer and the husband is an antique book collector. To include both of their interests in one clock, Roy carved three dolphins for the clock's frame and made the cardinal points into books with appropriate titles.
This clock is 12 inches in diameter and finished with clear polyurethane. The frame is tiger maple that is stained blue. The dolphins are made from basswood, the face is birch plywood, and the markers and books are FSC-certified mahogany.
