Fireplace Bellows
Our Fall Leaves Fireplace Bellows are inspired by the wonderful New England colors we are surrounded by each autumn. The bellows are made of basswood. The leaves are woodburned and tinted with colorful stains. Each set of leaves is unique.
The Fall Leaves fireplace bellows are finished with orange shellac, and the bag is made of stonewashed orange leather, also inspired by the fall leaves.
As with all of our bellows, these were finished with tung oil, a natural vegetable oil that enhances the depth of the wood grain. The bag consists of 2-3 ounce leather, very supple and able to produce a strong draft. We build the bellows with a strong steel hinge (covered by the leather) for dependability and a long life.
