Cherry Flywheel Clock
Roy built this cherry flywheel clock for a wedding present. Our customer (a daughter of the woman who ordered this clock, among many others) told us that the husband-to-be was mechanically inclined and that the couple was a lot of fun.
With that inspiration, Roy created this fun, mechanically inclined clock, based on the design of flywheels from old machinery.
Finished with tung oil, the clock is about 12 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches thick. It's made of cherry with birch button plugs for the hour markers. The clock movement is a standard quartz movement.
