Custom Clocks

​​This clock was made for one of our favorite customers. She is a teacher (now retired), and the clock was a wedding gift for a teacher friend of hers.

The clock is our take on the classic schoolhouse clock design. It is made out of some beautiful quilted birch that Roy rescued from a firewood pile. He stained the birch with cherry dye and finished it with shellac. The clock uses a quartz passing bell movement which chimes on the hour, and has a dome glass bezel.
